Giving to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church
What is online giving?
The online bill pay offered by your bank is a service that sends money out of your bank account to whomever you wish. In some cases these online bill pay services will actually print a check and mail it to the recipient. If the recipient of your payment is setup within the bank’s system, the bank will simply transfer the money electronically when you use online bill pay.
Why give online?
The growing popularity for online bill pay is paving the way for a paperless universe where checks, stamps, envelopes, and paper bills are obsolete. For Grace, it is an avenue for our members, guests, Ball State families and Alumni to be able to contribute to God’s work at anytime. It can be set up as a one-time gift or as recurring giving.
How can I give to Grace online?
Setting up online bill pay is easy. To set up this type of online bill pay for Grace you only need the church name and its address and your envelope number (if you have one). Set up a new payee in the name of the church at your online bill pay website. Copy the address and use your envelope number and/or the area of giving, and enter that information too. Each time you want to pay, you simply enter the amount of your offering and you are done. The bank will print and mail a check that will draw money from your account.
